The Department of Asian Studies at Cornell University is currently accepting applications for a Teaching Associate/Lecturer in Mandarin Chinese language. Level will be based upon duties. Candidates must possess a BA or equivalent and native or near native level fluency in Mandarin Chinese. Prior teaching experience in a university setting preferred. Appointment may be a full or part-time temporary teaching position, with possible renewal based on need and funding.
Language teachers should be able to teach various levels of language course sections and assist with registration, class preparations, student consultations, test administration and grading, attendance at staff meetings, and other teaching-related duties.
