The Department of Asian Studies' is proud to announce the awardees of the Diversity Research Grants Program in support of Asian Studies-related undergraduate research. This new program supports summer research by undergraduate students who identify with under-represented and marginalized communities. The Department of Asian Studies is committed to redressing the ways implicit bias and structural violence have unevenly affected students. The Diversity Research Grants Program is one expression of our aim to foster a dynamic, and increasingly equitable, intellectual community.
